Ask A Cop is live and unscripted. Each episode gives other officers and the community a window into a police officer's world and provides authentic community engagement with law enforcement professionals.Listeners can relate by asking questions, hearing some of their own struggles, and finding solutions. Despite preconceived notions, these men and women, who serve and protect, are approachable and eager to answer questions. This resource provides meaningful engagement for officers, their families, and the community. 016: What can the Billy Graham Law Enforcement Ministry offer me?
We were privileged to have once again David Rutledge is a retired law enforcement officer from the foothills of North Carolina. He worked for the Asheville Police Department for 30 years, and seven of those years were spent running major cases. After retirement in 2009, he went to work for Billy Graham's Rapid Response Team and National Law Enforcement Ministry in 2019. David has a deep understanding of law enforcement, having been in the profession for a long time. His passion for law enforcement started when he was in junior high and he believes that God has qualified him for the role. He takes his responsibilities very seriously and is passionate about helping people and protecting them in their time of need.
